I typically buy fresh bananas in bulk at Costco or at our local grocery store because I make smoothies in the morning or grab one on the go. Everyone has their own food staples at home and bananas are definitely one for me. Because I buy so many bananas, I often try to figure out what to make with any overly ripe ones I did not get the chance to eat or freeze on time. I don’t like wasting and trashing any, so I can safely say I have mastered making fresh banana bread. Everyone who tries my banana bread goes BANANAS for more!
I absolutely love making banana bread because it is so simple and easy to make! It is great for breakfast, a grab and go snack or dessert time. Honestly, it’s good to eat anytime! Feel free to add chocolate chips or walnuts! Makes it just that more delicious.
Follow the step by step instruction and ingredients below on the recipe card.

Thanks for sharing! I absolutely LOVE banana loaf! We always have bananas left over that I freeze for smoothies but I’m totally going to make this instead. The recipe card is so cute!
Yum! We always end up with leftover bananas so a lot of bread is made over here, but I’ve never tried it with condensed milk. I’d love to see what a difference it makes!

Bananas are a staple in our house too, but I hate throwing them out when they get yucky. This is a great option!
